I just got a dopod. I live in DOHA. Do i have to pay if i use WIFI with it?

??????? Of course no, especially if it is your won WIFI setup at home or office, another thing, you can use it in many coffee shop in Doha for free; and some times if you search next to building or neighborhood you will find couple of them with no security requirement.

But please don’t mistake GPRS access -Qtel- points with WIFI, they are totally different.
