  1. You DON'T introduce them, genius.

You keep the hamster nice and safe in the cage and you don't allow the dog in the room the hamster is in, and you don't put them near each other.

You can't make a huge dog like a small rodent- it'll all end in tears.

So just do what any intelligent person does in that situation, and keep them seperated.

    S'not hard.

  2. Don't try to get your boxer and your hamster to be friends!! 99.9% of the time it will not work. Keep your hamster on a shelf or table taller then the boxer, and your boxer probably won't bother the hamster. Make sure you wash your hands after playing with your hamster because they do have a smell (as all animals do) and it will rub off on your hands. This could make your boxer jealous or re-intrigue him to the hamster (which is bad!!!!!!!!).

  3. They should be separated, a boxer will kill your hamster. They are way too different in size to play together safely.

  4. Do not ever introduce your dog to a rodent! Some people may be very lucky and their dog doesn't hurt rodents, but if you have to 'try' to make the dog like the hamster, never introduce them again. Actually, keep the hamster in a dog-proof cage in a locked room! The dog may not be vicious, but his instincts can take over him in a second and he could easily kill the poor hamster. Better safe than sorry!

  5. dont even put them near each other the hamster will be scared even if the dog doesent mine the hamster will sh**  him self

  6. I won't introduce them. They dont realy need to know each other so they wont mind.

If your dog gets agressive towords your hamster them i think you should keep your hamster in your room so it doesnt get bothered by the doggy.

    Good luck.

  7. ok. the dog will EAT the hamster. if they do like each other, doggie will say! ohh! furry toy! and pick up the hamster in his mouth. even if he's gentle, the hamster will die of fright.

  8. Don't even waste your breath.  A boxer would eat that thing without even thinking twice.  Unless the boxer was introduced as a young puppy, it isn't going to happen.  My sister and I got Guinea Pigs when we were younger and my boxer took off with one of them.  Luckily all you had to do was yell drop it and she would so nothing happened.
