  1. congratulations on your job. as far as adding your hours you have to wait for your first check. a new person is always the first 1 to get off early not be so lucky as to put in a full shift. that's for some restaurants though you might be in a high traffic area this may not happen. good luck with your job.

  2. 256 before taxes, so I would say like 190-200 ish a week?

  3. if you JUST got a job at burger king, it might be a little different, because you might not work all those hours they have you for.. the reason being because your new and in the teaching process..

when i got my first job at fast food they would say... 5pm to 11pm and i would go in at 5 and leave at 8:30 so they may do that.

  4. about 250 a week

  5. 256 before taxes

  6. Buy a calculator at the $1.00 store. Take out about 20% for all the taxes. I think that should be a good estimate.

  7. 8 x 4 = 32

    32 x $8.00= $256.00 (gross--before taxes are taken out)

  8. Just wait until you get a check and you'll see for sure

  9. typically when you work 8 hours you should receive a half hour break and two fifteen minute breaks. you would need to include your hourly wage. so here is an example, if you work 7.5 hours and you make 8.00 an hour you times 7.5 by 8 and that would be 60.00 then you times that by four making it 240.00 a week. but you need to remember taxes come off that. Typically they will take any where from 20-30% of your taxes out of your check. If you are claiming 0 then they will take out more but at the end of the year when you do your taxes you will gain more money back.

  10. You do not always get a break.  Your job may require you to have one or the state may, but this is not always the case.

So you must figure 8 hours a day for $8 an hour will equal out to $64 a day.  You work 4 days a week which total to $256 a week.  The way most states are with taxes soon as you hit a $250 paycheck you can expect to give up $50 of it in taxes.

You'll be making $200 a week after taxes.  (As long as you work 32 hours a week.)
