I just got a job as transit supervisor and in winter i'll be outside for 8 hours, plz recommend best jacket?

Usually a supervisor walks around outside and adjust service and observe buses and streetcars going by. I have to prepare myself for coming winter. Different people have different opinions. I want to know the best possible wind breaker winter jacket, gloves, boots etc.

plz help me on this.

Get a Jacket rated to a certain temperture. Just like sleeping bags they have em for jackets too

if you can find an erehwon or an REI in your area go to one of these places and they will help you out alot... i sugggest this only bacause i worked at erehwon and the amount of knowledge on winter coats was amazing. theres alot of things that go into picking the perfect coat so i would suggest letting a retail store help you.
