I just got a leopard gecko and i have a cricket in there water,hidy hole but its not eating and it bit me:(?

i got the gecko this evening and its about 6 months old...i think.

i just wanna know if hes unhealthy or anything. and he has blue eyelids...

He's scared. When you first bring a gecko home he should be left alone for the first few days. Let him adjust to his new surroundings.

The eyelids appear blue because their skin is so thin.

Just give him a chance to adjust to his new home.  As long as you have the proper temps and a shelter for him to hide in when he feels stressed or scared, he should adjust quickly.  Leave him alone for a day or two, then slowly let him get used to you holding him.  The blue eyelids are normal.

THERE EYLIDS ARE BLUE TILL THEY MATURE AND LET HIM GET USED TO HIS NEW HOME THINK if we put you in a bag or box and took you every were and put u in friggin france in a tank you would wonder what the hel is goin on wouldnt you!
