I know I can do a backup CD and burn everything to CD and transfer them manually but I know there is a way to do it by hooking them together and pushing a few buttons...but I'm really not sure exactly how to do it. Can someone help me?

  1. could you maybe just put all the music on your ipod, then plug it in to your new computer? then it should ask if you want to trasfer them..

  2. Ya I think this should help.  Plug in a Firewire cord between the two computers then on the new laptop restart it and on restart hold the T key (which means target drive).  Then it should show up as an external drive on your G5 and then go to iTunes and move your music from iTunes to your other computer that shows up on your desktop.

If any problems happen e-mail me.

    Hope this helps.
