  1. If your DSL account requires a username and a password, you will need to connect it via PPPoE (this should be in the controls in the apple menu), I am not sure on how to set it up under PPPoE so you are on your own

If your account does not require a password, you should be able to connect the cable and be online, as the DHCP will assign your IP automatically, if you have a static IP (ask your phone company), type in the IP they give you in the internet settings

  2. u dont need to run the disk on it...

what happens when you open safari?..  or (internet explorer 9.2)

since you are connecting via ethernet you have a modem or router and most likely all your internet settings are already there...

    1. what kind of modem are u using??? (model# or manufacter)

    2. what happens when you open internet explorer??

    3. who is your ISP???

    ok perfect...

do you have any other device connected to your 327 a computer, xbox, etc??

if you do.. are you able to go online on that device??

if you cant, then there is a problem with your cxn (u may need to contact verizon)

if you CAN go online using any other device then is very simple

    1. connect your mac to the modem

    2. click on the apple, select 'control panels' and open 'TCP/IP'

    3. under connect via, select 'ethernet'

3.1 under configure select 'using DHCP'

apply all settings, reboot, and try internet explorer again

    did it work?

you can dowload firefox or safari... did i earned 10 points?? lol
