  1. Your snake is probably feeling insecure. Let him or her get used to the new environment first, and if they still aren't eating then it is probably a security issue. Make sure the enclosure isn't all exposed. If the snake feels exposed and unsafe it will not eat.

  2. i had a blood python and i had to put it under the bed in the dark to get it to eat lol.might have to try a live proper sized mouse at first and then try frozen.

  3. How are you feeding him? Is it live or dead? Is he used to live or dead? If it is dead did you defrost it enough? I have a kingsnake... She eats dead defrosted and I generally have to have it sit in hot water for about 35 min's before she will touch it. How old is the snake? What is it eating? Pinkies? medium? large?

  4. snakes can go a long long time without food.

  5. This happened to my ball. Some Ball Pythons won't eat Frozen/Thawed. Wait for another week if it won't eat. After a week offer it the f/t fuzzie. If it doesn't work then try using live fuzzies. They won't harm your snake they are too small. When upgrading to a live hopper, flick the hopper in the head as hard as you can. That will stun them and it won't attack your snake.

  6. don't handle or feed your new snake for another 7 days, the snake will be fine.  he needs to get used to his new surroundings.  snakes can stress out really easy, in fact snakes can stress to death.  when you do feed your new snake feed him in a feeding tub.  get a plastic box, large enough for your snake to fit in it comfortably.  get the short boxes…the box should be about the height to go under a bed.  drill several small holes along the sides at the top for airflow.  put the snake in and then put his food in.  after your snake has eaten give him about 20 minutes or so to get the food down and then put him back up in his house.  give him at least 24 hours to digest the food a bit before you handle him (giving him 48 hours is better).

    good luck!

  7. I would leave him for 5-7 days to get used to his environment  and don't worry this isn't bad for him they can go a while without feeding.... after this time you can try feeding again... I always defrost mine on a window sill and then put the fuzzies in a bag and submerge it in warm water(not boiling) to ensure that the organs are warm... to  test this you place the fuzzie between your index finger and thumb and if it feels cold then the organs aren't warm enough and your snake wont be interested! to feed it put it in a feeding box and dangle the fuzzie with tweezers... (don't tap the snake on the nose with the fuzzie as this could make it head shy and could create feeding problems in the future!) then i leave mine for 20 Min's or so to let the fuzzie go down. After this place your snake back in its viv for at least 24 hours... you do this so the snake has a chance of digesting its food.. also there is a chance your  snake could regurgitate the fuzzie if handled to soon....hope i have helped! good luck with your snake and most of all enjoy!  please don't worry about it not eating it will once it's acclimatized and is less stressed out from the move!!!!!

  8. try live fuzzies they wont bite
