  1. New Brakes usually squeek, but your front wheel could also be on to tight..


  2. 1st and foremost, check to see if the rotor is loose. It should not wiggle. It's just a good idea to visually inspect for things that don't look right. Most often what you are describing is just normal break in. But if in doubt, don't be afraid to ask the shop where you bought it. That's what they are there for.

  3. Disc brakes can not only squeak when they're new but they can howl, your problem is very common.

    Find a long steep hill to ride down and do some hard/heavy braking to get some heat into the pads, the more you use the brake the quicker the squeak will disappear.
