It's an '08 Burton Elite. It retails for like $350 or $360, but I got it off ebay for $320, plus freestyle bindings. I'm a beginner, so I'm wondering how good of a board this is. Thanks!

  1. board is actually a really nice entry level board.  you should seriously not put freestyle bindings on it though- youll be doing it a disservice.  freestyle bindings are absolutely bottom of the barrel.  i work at a snow shop, and we can not even GIVE those things away.  they are all plastic, and very very flimsy.  they are uncomfortable, not very adjustable, all around crapfest.  i suggest you sell them new on ebay for about 75.  and then buy a pair of burton customs at the very least.  burton missions if youre feeling generous.  but a common misconception is that you need burton bindings for burton boards.  you can honestly use any real bindings on burton boards.  i highly reccommend ride LX bindings if you want to stay on the cheap side. they have lifetime warranties on the baseplate, have aircraft aluminum bases, nice huge ratchets, super comfy convertible straps, and are super adjustable.

so ill stop rambling now.  sorry for the novel.
