I just got a new cd player an amp, and 2 12"s put in my suv, the amp turns off when i play a cd.?

Everything works fine except when i put a cd in the deck, the amp turns off, but if i switch it back to radio it turns back on???? Does anyone understand this problem? If so whatcha think, somthing got hooked up wrong??

i actually really have never dealt with this problem, but check your remote wire that runs to the amp, it sounds like you connected it to the REM ANT  wire on the back of your cd player instead of actually hookin it to the other blue remote wire,, the one i think you have it hooked to is for a power ant, juss check it and thats prolly your problem

the reason i say u prolly have it hooked to the power antenna is ur amp turns on when you play the radio, and power is only sent to that wire when fm mode is on.
