I just got a new hp laptop, how long do I need to keep i tplugged in until It's fully charged?

During the set up plug in ur laptop after that leave and charge for at least 24 hours for max performance. many ppl complain about low battery life because they dont charge it long enough these li-on or wutever batterys have a memory thing during the first charge so best to charge for 24 hours

The first fully charge takes longer, many brand suggest 6 hours for the first time.  You will like the first battery charge up to 6hrs.
