I just got a new puppy please help!!!!!

Question

i just got a yorkie or how ever you spell it but we took him to the house and he started whining and then wouldn't drink or eat anything after a while he drank some water but he wouldn't eat his dog food. so i went down stairs to make a hot dog and he ate it and then he started to make some noises like he was about to cough it up then he started to roll around the floor like hes having a seizure and its realy scary cuz i dont know what to do and he wont stop whining PLEASE HELP ME

for em not to really eat is normal once hes comfortable and adjust he'll eat. but u do want to watch wat u give em. ppl food is ok as long as is plain no grease or fats or salts. thats wat cause the damage. u can try plain white rice mixed wit some ground turkey or beef. some meats but not any processed. veggies are also good. lots of dogs like carrots as treats. but STAY AWAY FROM CHOCOLATES GRAPES AND RAISENS!!!!!! they can have bad allergic reactions to those and even cause death at times, and also  i just thought of something. if he was rolling on the floor it might b caused by something u put on em that hes not use too like a harness. a few of my puppies did that when i 1st got them but they adjusted. he is just scared and you will have to give him time to adjust.DON'T smother the dog with attention,you don't want him to learn that he gets positive attention for whining and you dont want a dog thinking its the most important thing in your life.don't feed him hotdogs,or anything you would eat,if you get a good dry food mixed with some meat (the same brand) that will give him all the nutrients he needs.i believe he isn't eating now bcoz moving into a strange house can be a traumatising time for a dog.

Don't worry hes just scared! Its normal for dogs not to eat or drink when you first get them, my dog did the same thing, the way i got him to eat and drink is i pretended to go up to his bowl and pretend i was eating it, him coughing or throwing the hot dog up is normal hes not used to food like that *and real meat like red and chicken isnt as bad for your dog as people think just don't make a habit of it*

you're not suppose to feed yorkies ppl food. but he is probably just adjusting give him time.
