  1. HI!

THANKS TO NICE PEOPLE LIKE YOU ANIMALS ARE GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE!  YOU MUST BE FIRM WHEN IT COMES TO BITTING, YOU WONT TOLERATE IT . TELL HIM NO AND DON'T LOVE ON HIM.

WHEN HE IS NICE REWARD HIM WITH A TREAT LOVE ON HIM,AND TELL HIM HE IS A GOOD DOG.

IF IT CONTINUES YOU WILL HAVE TO ENROLL HIM IN OBEDIENCE CLASSES.  LOCAL RECREATION DEPARTMENTS HAVE THEM AL THE TIME. GOOD LUCK,  BAYOUDON

  2. you should get him a chew toy so he can bite that because maybe hes biting because he teeting since hes only a pup!~

and i think you should spray alittle water on his face and say NO and (his name)

    good luck~

  3. whenever it bites just tap it on the nose and say NO.. And then ignore it for a bit. That always works it then noes that that's wrong.

  4. Puppies will often bite people, especially during rough play. They can also do this when they're teething. Dogs are normally trained not to bite as puppies by their playmates. The littermates will react negatively and stop playing when bitten, which gradually teaches puppies not to do it. Since people raise puppies outside of this environment, you're going to have to socialize your puppy not to bite yourself. Here are some tips to keep your puppy from biting:

    1) Remember that many puppies bite because they are TEETHING. Their teeth hurt, so they are biting things frequently as a result. It's easy to tell if this is the cause, because the puppy will not just be biting you - it will be chewing on things around the house. See the page on puppy teething for information on what to do in that situation.

    2) Socializing your puppy with other puppies is a good way of training a puppy not to bite. They will bite each other during play, and naturally learn when they are hurting each other and when they aren't by the reaction of the other puppy. This is also just good training in general for being a well-rounded dog as an adult - the puppy will have more experience with other dogs and will be less likely to react negatively to them.

    3) When a puppy bites you during play, you should clearly and loudly say "NO!" and stop playing. Don't hit the puppy or keep yelling at it. Dogs learn obedience through a "pack mentality." They do what you say if you become the alpha male in their eyes - the top dog in the pack. Once you've done that, dogs will instinctively be subservient to you. You need to both be strong and make clear that you will stop the play session as punishment if the puppy bites.

    4) Don't be inconsistent - don't allow biting some of the time but punish it other times. The puppy will only learn that this is negative behavior if you always react negatively to it. There is a temptation among owners to allow the puppy to bite if it doesn't hurt. With dogs, that isn't a good idea. They're going to get bigger, and they will be more likely to injure someone accidentally.

  5. Aww whats it look like?

I would spray it with water and say NO or BAD!

  6. Take his muzzle and grab it and tell him no bite in a very firm voice, you can also take his lip and pinch it against his own teeth and again tell him no bite. Also have a toy to give him and encourage him to bite on it or a bone. Be consistent and don't let him ever get by with the behavior.

  7. every time he goes for a hand or person tell him NO firmly and give him something he is allowed to chew on. Just keep at it and be consistent, he will eventually get the point. Have plenty of different kinds of toys with different types of textures he can experiment with. Good luck!

  8. wow, thats an interesting mix. when he bites, take his nose in your hand and gently but firmly shake it (not enough to hurt). this is what his mother would do if he bit her and it will teach him that you are his leader.
