I just got a skim board what do i need to do before i put wax on it and ride?

If your going to put an arch bar and traction pad on it, do that first. Wait a couple days for those to fully attach. Then put the wax on and enjoy the waves!

maybe stretch a bit. I don't but if you don't skimboard and are trying it for the first time or just haven't done it in a while, you definitely feel it the next morning (like your legs, almost near your quads), so i guess stretching would help. Also, what I tell my friends is, that you can'y just be al la-dee-da-dee-da about skimboarding. You have to be like in a hard-core mood when you skim if you know what I mean...Hope I helped!!
