  1. Take a lessong and this is the wrong section

The basics of snowboarding is staying on your edges and moving from one to another. Start out on a mellow Green at your local mountain. First practice just gliding. When you get comfortable moving try pushing out your back leg. It is just pulling your leg around to your edges then stopping. Then try pushing it out the other way. Now try and link them to gether

Getting a lesson is what you need to do

  2. Try posting this in the SNOWBOARDING section...This is SKIING! You'll most likley get better answers if you place your question in the proper section.

  3. (10 points please?) It's nothing like skateboarding except balancing, you look far and wide instead of close to yourself, because basically, you go to where you're looking. Try to face the top of the mountain rather than facing down the hill. You want to go across the hill sideways back & forth like a leaf falling rather than going straight down the hill really fast. When you're facing up the hill, you slightly go on your tip toes to dig into the snow for slowing, and when you're facing down the hill you slightly pull your toes up so to dig your heels in the snow. (Remember, cross-ways on the hill)

    Good Luck!

  4. Try to stay on the board

    thats all i have
