I am 20 years old, and a little over a month ago, got my first speeding ticket (77 in a 60) on my way to work. It was my first citation and I have a high GPA so my insurance said my rates wouldn't go up. Therefore, I paid the fine, and planned on not speeding. Unfortunately, I got pulled over again (51 in a 35, although I'm positive I wasn't going that fast). As I'm a student and trying to build credit, I was hoping to keep my rates down. What would be a good option to pursue to keep my insurance rates down? I was told by a friend to enter a not guilty plea and hope for a plea bargain; however, he's never done that, so I don't know how it would work, and I also don't have much of a case if it actually goes to court.
Note: I know that I shouldn't have been speeding. I'm just asking for options.
