I just got a text message from a friend (on my phone) [read the details]?

It says "The Yahoo! Messenger user "my friend's screen name" has sent you a message. Reply with "y" to this message to accept. For more info, visit mobile.yahoo.com." Is this thing free? I went to that web address, but I wasn't sure what to do once I got there.

  1. incoming texts are free.  go for it, then wait for the phone bill and it will tell you incoming text amounts and a zero charge next to it.

  6. I believe all that it means is that you have to go get the message & its free.

    Or at least its free to access--you might want to call your service provider to see if they would charge you for accessing it.
