  1. Get one of these anti-virus listed below. All these anti-virus work very well, they are the leaders in the current market.

    Kaspersky anti-virus:

    MacroVirus anti-virus:

    The Shield Deluxe anti-virus:

    BitDefender anti-virus:

  2. For completely removing the virus for free, download Avira Free Antivirus Edition from http://www.download.com, though its free but its the best among any other anti virus softwares including Norton and Kaspersky due to its high signature detection rate (99.6%) and does not misses most of the rootkits!

After downoading, create a rescue CD, then insert the CD at boot time, then run a scan (without logging onto windows), it will clean the virus or viruses that are hard to delete from windows platform.

For downloading the latest version of avira goto http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?q...

  3. well u have a virus and all u care about is myspace....

    Download SuperAntiSpyware

    - Update and Sca

  4. Threat Fire is PC Magazine Editor's choice.

I strongly recommend Threat fire because it use very little system resources (5 MB RAM)

while giving you the same protection as other anti-virus programs.

    http://www.threatfire.com/

Install and do a FULL system scan

    ThreatFire's patent-pending ActiveDefense

technology offers protection against all types of internet threats

    - both known and unknown - spyware, adware, keyloggers, viruses, worms,

Trojans, rootkits, buffer overflows, and other malware.

ThreatFire uses its unparalleled protection to hunt down and paralyze those threats

that are either too new or too clever to be recognized by traditional "signature-based" antivirus.

Windows utilize a restore utility that backs up selected files

automatically to the System volume information /System Restore folder.

This means that an infected file could be stored there as a backup file,

and most anti-virus programs will be unable to delete these files. You

must disable the System Restore Utility to remove the infected files

from the folder if you use another brand of anti-virus. However, you do

not need to do so if you use Threat Fire.

Threat Fire can quarantine and neutralise viruses hidden in system restore folder.

Once a virus is quarantine, your system is safe and you have the option to delete

    the quarantine files.

  5. Download and scan with the the following free software in order one by one, delete what ever they find should leave your PC free of infections:

    Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    SuperAntispyware: http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware...

    Avast Anti-Virus: http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Editi...

Once you have removed the infections keep Avast and download Comodo Pro firewall, then switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE this should stop it returning. (links on my profile)

  6. use avg, spybot search and destroy, adware se all free
