I called the concert hall and they said it was okay, I just might want to bring ear plugs.

  1. ummmm....if noise doesn't upset her then its fine but if she suddenly starts squealing like crazy then ud miss the whole thing. u don't have any reliable family or friends that can sit for the day/night?

  2. If this were a REAL concert, I'd have admonished you to suck it up and just stay home with your daughter...

However, since this'll be the blandest, most repugnant concert experience ever.....what the h**l, grab some ear plugs and bring her along.

Actually....on second thought, don't.  This one experience could  ruin music for her forever........and why would you want to do that to a child???

  3. I say no.  Think about the other concert goers who will be sitting next to you.  Is your child well behaved? Would he/she sit through a concert with loud music and next to strangers?  If your child fusses and cries how will this affect your "neighbors" who paid $ to see and hear the Idol singers and are now listening to your child fuss and cry?

I sound mean and intolerant, but think about it before you go. How would you feel if you were a concert goer and someone brought their child to the concert?

  4. I don't think that is a proper setting for a 14 month old. Usually children that young are just now getting to know the world and everything in it and sounds like that can be quite scary and confusing to them. I would sell the tickets on Craigslist if you cold not get a baby sitter. That is Motherhood for you. We have to sacrifice for our children

  5. Get her some earplugs and rock on! She'll prolly have a ball!

  6. I personally dont think that would be best setting for a baby. I agree with some of the others the setting might be a little hectic and you will end up distracted and missing the show anyway. Try your darndest to find a sitter if possible.

  7. Is it tonight? If not, then keep looking for a sitter. Ask a sibling, your mother, dad, friend, anyone. Are there any teenagers in your area? Call them and ask. If not, she should be fine.
