I just got caught in the act with my boyfriend by my dad. How should I handle this?

my boyfriend and i were having s*x in my empty house, and my dad came home unexpectedly and saw my man's car. of course he came in. (no he didn't actually walk in on us, but we were caught.)

parents (or others who have been in this situation)- what's the best way to handle this?

my parents know we are active, but i told them i was at the mall... so i did lie.

I kinda had a similar situation once when i was at my boyfriend's house and his parents went to the pub so we went upstairs to have s*x and they came back. We were done s just quietly and quick;y got dressed and we heard his dad say don't go up there so we know that they knew.

They knew we were active as well but it was very embarrassing. I think the best thing to do is don't raise it in conversation and do not act any differently If he asks just say you decided not to go to the mall in the end and carry on. I doubt he'll mention it anyway

yeah you are grounded. You lied to your parents and  you disrespected your parents home.   You rubbed their nose in a part of your life they did not want to be involved in.

You were dumb to even think you could have s*x at home.   When you pay the rent you set the rules, until then, Mind.  

You were even dumber to lie.  

Suck it up.  your parents are disgusted with you right now, I would stay in my room if I were you and wait till things cool down for a day or two before I even try to talk to them.

OMG if you only knew how much trouble you could get into by lying to your parents.  

I know you cant say, hey dad my BF is coming over and we are going to do IT but you really don't want to lie to your parents.  They know all kinds of stuff and ways to protect you, from yourself and others, that you don't yet have the experience to IMAGINE. DONT LIE TO YOUR PARENTS.

But as to the current situation, assure your parents you were having protected s*x and that you are willing to assume the consequences should the protection fail to protect you.  Then assure them that you will never lie to them again unless they get a really hideous haircut!

I would have called one of your parents first and let them know you decided not to go to the mall and asked if it was ok for your boyfriend. to come over. It is your parents house so you have to go under their rules. Good luck getting trusted now let alone being left alone with your boyfriend again. Your lucky they don't get you a babysitter.

How embarrassing.  If they know you are sexually active and they are ok with it then what is the big deal?  You could have just told your parents that you were planning on going to the mall after you had some afternoon delight.

i doubt they'll ask anymore questions, as they probably feel as embarassed as you do, if not more.

YOUR MAN..?  IF HE WAS A MAN LIKE YOU SAY THEN HE WOULD NOT BEING HAVING s*x WITH YOU IN YOUR PARENTS HOUSE..

YIKES....that would be uncomfortable! I wouldn't say anything about it unless he does, maybe just tell him that he came to pick you up, so you really WERE going to the mall???
