  1. no not normal at alll!!!!!!!!!!! take them off and go to the doc!

  2. First time wearers should only wear their lenses about 4 hours the first day and build up the wear-time by an hour or 2 each day.  Most of my patients report no discomfort or awareness after the first few minutes of insertion with soft lenses.  You should definitely contact your doctor.

  3. take them out and put your glasses back on put you contacts in a contact case in solution and in the morning try them back on and if not better take them out and go see you doc. again

  4. They might be on the wrong way.  Or it's just a transition thing.  When I first got contacts, it really affected my allergies-it could be that.

  5. Doesn't sound right to me.  I had them for years before I got lasik and I saw better with my contacts than I ever did my glasses when I was younger, and this was true from the minute I got them.  The watering part might be due to your eyes not being used to them.  It's the sight part that seems wrong...  I'd give it through tomorrow and then talk to your doctor about them Monday if you need to.  You should be seeing well now though if prescription is right...

  6. I was given instructions for a break in period when I first got contacts.  Did your doctor do this?

They could be inverted.  See the source or manufacturer's web site.

For now take them out until tomorrow.  Try again.  If they still give you problems, call your eye doctor.

  7. I have contacts, and this has never happened to me. I would take them out, and wear your glasses until you have time to go and see your eye-doctor. They will know what is going on.

    Good luck!!
