  1. My DVR asks me if I want to continuing recording the program I am watching when I switch channels. (then I hit the YES button) and switch to the other channel. Of course my DVR will record up to 2 channels while I watch a third channel. (I have Cable service)

The best solution is to program the channel into your DVR before it starts.

Example: If the program starts at 8pm, then at 7pm go to that channel, slide over to 8pm, hit the info button on the show you want to watch and push the RED button (record button) and it will either ask you if you want to record a series (if it is a series) or ask you if you want to record the program. Once again hit YES and that should do it.

  2. if you have the dvr with dual tvs just record on the other tv it will say which tv you want to record on tv1 or tv2 choose. you can not watch a different channel if you only have one tv you can however watch a previously recorded show while recording    hopes this helps

  3. Are you finding the above answers useful? I don't.  Anyway, all you need to do is run another cable line into the second input on the back right next to the one that's already there - you need 2 lines in for 2 channels at a time watching/recording.  Once connected, it works without any other setting or menu adjustments - except I think I did press the reset button after I added it, but can't remember if I needed to.  Don't forget to insert the little module like the one on the other line going in (there should be an extra one in the box the dvr was in).
