Is it me or did the Video Game Dead Rising totaly Rip off Dawn Of The Dead?

its not a rip off coz dead rising is a game. but i think they got some of there ideas off the film

It has many similarities but there is a the note on the game case that it was in no response to dawn of the dead or any of georges films
