I just got horrific prank call from someone. is there anyway to figure out there number so i can report them?

it was around 12:30-1:00 in the morning and some person called and wa yelling obsenitys. can someone tell me how to figure out there number so i can report them?

though they wont do anything without minimum 3 calls

and without you telling the person not to call back

well im not quite sure...i dont think theres anything to do ahow ur parents or show police...its a prank call forget about it.or got to policei think theres someway to figure it out...

You can dial "*69" to retrieve the last number that dialed your line.  It will cost, tho.  My carrier charges $1.  Just remember, *69 will tell you the LaSt number [only] that called you.  Hope this helps [in future, if not this time].

You're probably out of luck, trying to find any number to report a prank call. I used to get a lot of obscene calls when I was living in the city. I began answering the phone with a real timid, accented "hallllo?" like I was someone who spoke a different language, and probably would not be able to understand. The pranksters hung up right away. At first it annoyed/amused my friends, but they soon got used to it.

Call your local phone company and they'll tell you exactly what to do. In the meantime, call the police, just to leave a paper trail. You can also ask the phone company to put it on file that you've received and requested help with this. One more paper trail...good luck!

dont bother reporting them its just a stupid prank heaps of people get them its nothing to worry about until u get threats. but yea take care dial *10# in australia

Leave the phone of the hook for a few nights . they will soon get fed up with it, and you wont be woken in the early hours ,

If someone prank calls you and it was a private number you can press a *_ _ number not sure what it would be with your service provider....If you do this each time they call for 3 times, you can get the number and report it.....usully you will get the number from ur company......
