  1. I'm not sure I understand.  You want to go to medical school and want to continue college, yet somehow got kicked out.  It takes quite a lot to get kicked out of school, so I would obviously question your motivation to do well in college, much less medical school.

First, you're not too old.  Second, your options will narrow as you get older.  I suggest you figure out what you really want.  Medical school is possible, but takes a 4-8 year plan in your case.  How bad do you want it?  Or will you be happy knowing you didn't do what you wanted to do in life because it was hard.

  2. You should talk to your advisor at your college to see what your options are to be readmitted.  Most times, you will be required to "sit out" of school for a specified amount of time or attend a junior college to improve your GPA.  After you raise your GPA, your college may readmit you.

To be admitted for medical school, you should consult with the Admissions Office to inquire about their admission requirements.  Some may require a minimum GPA and a minimum MCAT exam score.

Don't be discouraged about your current academic situation.  Recommit yourself to your education.  Also, you are never too old to go to college.  Life is a lifelong learning process.  I admitted a woman in her 60's into a medical school program.

    Best wishes!

  3. Not any good ones.  Prepare to attend medical school in sunny Guatemala.

  4. What do you mean? Will medical school still accept you? That's an obvious no...

You could probably find another undergrad. school to go to, but I'm not sure how you're going to tell them you got kicked out of your last one. Most are going refuse you automatically when they hear that.

It sounds to me like you went to college for the wrong reasons. You go there to learn, not to just party all the time. It's fine as long as you keep your grades up, but you obviously weren't.

I'm not saying you partied too much or whatever, b/c I don't know, but if you think you have what it takes to get into medical school and you flunked out of college, you did something wrong along the way to make your grades bad enough for them to kick you out...

Your best bet is to go to community college for a couple years, get your basics there, and then try to transfer to a university to finish your bachelor's degree.

Good luck in whatever you decide.
