I just got ma tongue pierced and how can you tell if the swellin is going down nd when can you change the bar?

PS - you can tell the swelling has gone down when you can talk normally again... lol

you can tell the swelling is going down when you have room on the top of your tounge & the barbell. If there's no room & you can only see the ball then its not going down yet. I waited 2 weeks before changing mine out. Make sure and clean it well before changing it. good luck

Are you typing with your tongue?

The swelling is receding when your tongue goes back to a normal size.
