  1. I know that bringing baby in this country is expensive. Don't blame the poor family, blame the hospital who charging crazily.

It depends which state you are, go to the medicaid website in your state and apply. It will cover your whole pregnancy and will cover your baby as well.

  2. if you are illegal alien you will get health care services handed to you along with welfare services!

  3. Does he have a job? You can work too you know. Depends if both your incomes fall below the poverty level for 2 people.

  4. Depends on your income,if you cannot afford children why do you make poor choices and burden society? Does it not embarrass you to be a mooch? Get a job!

  5. Marriage and pregnancy is now grounds for goverment hand outs?

Try getting a job, my wife worked into her 9th month...twice!

Did you marry a man who can support you?

  6. What is your status and what are you changing it to?

  7. Yes, you can.  Then, the person who supplied your Affidavit of Support will be liable to repay the government for the services you used.

Remember that Affidavit of Support form?  This is where it comes into play.

  8. Can't feed them don't breed them.

  9. No original comments over what the others have stated.  Why, for the information of the rest of us, do you expect the governmental agencies to provide you health care services that the general population provides for themselves by working for a living?   It kind of strikes some or all of us as an amoral question that someone should pay your debts.  Is the plan that nobody in the household will work now. Or ever?

  10. You're married, there are two people able to work to support this child, and no, you are not eligible for any kind of digging into taxpayers' pockets.  Get jobs and support yourselves and your child or go back to your own country.

Bear in mind the "public charge" law -- if you ever apply for social services or become unable to support yourself & your family, you become ineligible for citizenship.

  11. I know of many young married couples who got medical under a "healthy baby" program.

You should be covered until the baby is born and you get your last post-natal (after baby is born) check-up. Than your baby is usually covered until one of you gets medical benifits from a job. And sometimes at that, you still might qualify because the job benifits don't cover all that much or the job co-pay is way to high. All that can be determined when you apply. Go apply and the worst thing that can happen is that they tell you "no", you do not qualify.
