I just got my braces now and my teeth are very sensitive when I touch them and talk?

Question

I just got braces on one hour ago and I took Advil before the braces time, and it is so painful. And right now, when I talk, my teeth hurt alot and when I touch them, it hurts so much! It has become so sensitive so I can't talk!

What should I do?

i have braces too and it will hurt at least for 2 days. just eat yogurt and soft foods until it gets better.

I remember the first day I got my braces. It's going to KILL you the first couple of days. But you'll soon get used to it. Just take it easy with the talking and just relax your mouth.

Don't worry. It is normal.

I have had braces and so have many of my friends, It would be weirder if it didn't hurt.

It could keep hurting for up too 2 weeks.

Theres really nothing you can do. Just be really careful,eat soft foods. Your teeth are ajusting to the wires in your mouth. Maybe take another advil depending how old you are and be excited :D

Take some aspirin.  The discomfort will ease after a few days.

dont move your mouth go to bed at 8 or 9 in the moning see how it is take meds and brush your teeth
