  1. Yea they told me six months both times I got mine pierced. =)

  2. idk i did mine myself and changed it within about a month and then took it out and left it out and it still isn't closed.

  3. For earlobe piercing I know it's 6 weeks, but cartilage is longer. Probably 8 weeks.

  4. well i never got a cartilage piercing but i am pretty sure it is like 8 weeks minimum but to keep it safe do it for 9 because that spot takes longer to heal

  5. I changgedd miine afterr a month

but jus rememberr not too touchh itt (:

  6. Is it a single stud in your cartilage?  Or is it an industrial piercing or a tragus?  Those types of things affect healing times.

If it is an industrial or tragus piercing, it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year for it to heal and to be able to change the jewellery safely.

If it's a single stud in your cartilage, wait between 6 and 8 months to change it.

  7. I got my cartilage pierced when i turned thirteen. It didn't heal completely until almost a year later, and it didn't stop hurting completely for at least ten months after wards, so don't worry too much if you bump it too hard or it just spontaneously starts bleeding. And one last thing, don't take out the piercing for too long if you can avoid it, because cartilage piercings close in a little over a twenty four hour period and will be very painful if you try to put the same sized gage back in.

    hope this helps!
