I just got my dependent visa for Ireland. What are the requirements for travel aside from my passport?

I'm a Filipina married to a Filipino nurse in Ireland. My dependent visa just got approved. I need details for my travel to Ireland departing from the Philippines. Im clueless! I only have my visa stamped passport. And I'm supposed to leave on Nov. 14! Help ASAP!

  1. If you have the VISA then u dont need anything just your passport :)


  2. If you have a valid visa and passport thats all you need. But it wouldn't hurt to carry some extra papers with you when you travel, such as your address in Ireland, proof of your husband's job, bank accounts, etc. You shouldn't need them but sometimes the immigration police ask stupid questions.

    Also, if you are flying indirectly to Ireland you may need a transit visa. It depends on what country you are flying through and whether the airport allows transit.

    Major airports, such as Heathrow in London, or Charles De Gaulle in Paris are ok. Smaller airports are more risky.
