  1. Um...do have any idea how big a division is?? All sorts of things will fall under them...medical, admin, MPs....just wait a little bit a get used to the army..you will learn all this stuff.

  2. Don't worry about it, you will be in a MP company.  A division is huge and consist of everything, Intel, MP, FA, AG etc.  A special troops battalion means you will be in a unit consisting of "non organic" (I forgot the fancy word for it) troops.Usually, it's the intel, MP, logistic, basically the non combat arms folks put into the same battalion.  You really don't have to worry about it because as a private, you will only be concern with your squad level duties.

  3. MP's go everywhere  besides they own u so they can put u where ever they want lol

  4. A Division is huge, I was Armor in an Infantry Division. I've been in a Supply company in an Armor Battalion in a Cav Division... MP's are needed everywhere.

Special Troops is just that... Don't worry about it until you get there and then you can see how special it is or isn't...

  5. you will be a detachment in the special troops battalion!that means that you will be most of the time a field mp and support the special troops (like on convoys and checkpoins)!
