I just got my lcd tv but cant get it to turn on?

i plugged it into the wall is there more i need to do?

On some of  TVs you may need to have at least the antenna or cable connected (or some other source ready to go).

Check the manual or call the place where you got it from and explain whats happening.

Connect something to one of the inputs perhaps...

Then you will have to select the input you have connected your DVD or cable box to in order to display it. You will find a button on the TV and on the remote which is probably labeled "input".
