I just got my lip pierced, but I want to change it. Would it be ok if I went to a piercer to change it?

So I just got my lipped pierced today but there was a slight problem because they were out of medium length labret studs, so it was either the long or the short one. My piercer didn't want to put the smaller one in due to swelling but the longer one is really out there from my face and when it gets pushed in, the back sometimes gets hooked on my teeth.

Do you think i could get it changed if it was done professionally?

  1. Yes, going to the piercer would be the smartest thing to do.

  2. Yes, get it done professionally, but why would you ever want a lip piercing??  Ewwww!!

  3. If you're having difficulties with your piercing, you should really go and get them to check it out and possibly fix it before it turns into a bigger problem for you. However there will definitely be more discomfort and swelling if your piercer changes it. So just prepare yourself for a bit extra pain.

    Good luck.
