I just got my "O RE" motor cycle licence thru a Q-Ride training course, how long do I have to wait till I get

That Trainer told me I have to wait for a year to get my "O R".

Is it true? Is there any alternate to get "O R" quickly under the new rules ??

Got in at the wrong time mate, i did my q ride in march and went straight on open R licence. You gotta wait a year now. But hey at least you'll have plenty of road experience when you get on a bigger bike instead of been like me and jumping straight on a 1000cc

Nope, no way, gotta do a year as 'RE' before they give you 'R', then another year before you can carry a pillion passanger, sorry mate
