I just got my robo hamster yesterday (his name is bo) and he is not eating,drinking and now is just sleeping

i no i have just gotten him, he is really cute and i am really worried about him i am a first time owner of a robo i am 12 years old and have had many many pets. my birthday is aug. 7th ( a couple of days) and i bought bo with some money i got from my g-ma ialready had a 40 gal. tank so... pleas ehelp me = (

Don't worry.  He is just adjusting to his new surroundings.  He is also sleeping right now because it is day time and hamsters are nocturnal.  My hammy is only up after dinner and I get a couple of hours with him.  When I wake up in the morning she is asleep.  Happy Birthday.  Your hammy will be fine.  Just give him a couple of days to adjust then start to handle him.  He will let you know when to back off by letting out a warning sound.  I love my hamster.  She is really friendly.  He will be okay.

if you've ever seen your hamster eat then it has probably stored a lot of food somewhere in the cage, he might be eating that. hamsters almost never drink, so don't be concerned. hamsters tend to sleep a lot and should be expected by a hamster owner.
