  1. good string.

  2. I like Big Banger strings. I use the Alu Power Rough 16, and it's really easy to generate power and spin with them. They're kinda taxing on the arm, though, so I hope you strung your racket at a lower tension than usual.

About the coloring, I don't think it's a good idea to use normal paint. Gamma sells ink for coloring the strings, but I've tried it before, and the ink hardens the strings. So it's good if you're a power hitter, but bad if you're a touch player.

    Hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. Luxilon Big Bangers are very popular and nice strings, some can be hurtful to your arm if you cannot swing fast enough to take advantage of its benefits. Poly strings like Luxilon will usually be durable, spin-friendly, won't move, and are low-powered.

Also, if you want to color your strings, a sharpie or your spray can should be fine but I recommend getting stencil ink and using that. I would stay away from using ink on natural gut strings as you can ruin its playability.
