I just got my tooth filled and it hurts; what can I do to numb the pain?

I took 800mg of Ibuprofen 15 minutes ago and it didn't even make a dent in the pain...

  1. Try anbesol, it's a topical cream/gel you apply right onto the affected area.

    Swish some water around in your mouth after you discover the perfect temperature, neither hot or cold.

    If it doesn't go away by tomorrow or something, I'd call the dentist who filled  your tooth, because I don't think it's supposed to be hurting that bad afterwards. ;/

  11. you can buy numbing gel at the store but i cant remember what it is called. i think it was something like ambosol or something like that
