You may need a better antenna. Ours does that sometimes. Or if you can move your antenna around that sometimes helps. And make sure everything is plugged in completely. These converters are very complicated. Well Hope that helps.

"Bouncing around" is a rather vague term.  Do you mean it changes from one size to another?  Does it go from widescreen with black bars to full screen?  Might be the content (program) you are watching and its commercials.  Or it might be the setting which you have the box set to since you now have control over how you want widescreen content to be displayed.  That setting is in the box's MENU or SETUP.  So check out the manual to see how to set this and see what it looks like in different settings.
