  1. yes it usually hurts a lot and no there is nothing else you can do.  Make sure to ice it or else you will look like Jabba the Hut by the third day because of the swelling.

  2. when i got my teeth pulled it did not hurt after

  3. I had my 3 wisdom teeth out and they were impacted into my jaw bone. I put ice on it for hours afterwards and everything was fine. No pain at all. No swelling.

  4. everyone is diff mine also hurt

use ice and lots of it cuz ur gonna swell up and its not fun

  5. Well you now have 3 gapping holes in your mouth so yeah its gonna hurt.  If you've stopped bleeding alot then eat. Soup or Carnation instant breakfast is good.  If you already have meds you should just deal with the discomfort, it doesn't last too long.

  6. I just got my wisdom teeth pulled this morning too, so i feel for you. :[

The best thing to do is to ...get some vicadin.  It's worked for me.

Try a higher dosage of whatever medicine you're taking untill you get the pain under control, then you can take less.

The best thing to do is to sleep for a while, and then just keep your mouth in one place, moving your jaw around (obviously) just creates lots of unnesessary pain.

& eat some ice cream, it'll make you feel better :]

  7. Getting my wisdom teeth pulled was the worst experience of my life ... well, rather getting them extracted. All four were surgically removed. I felt like my face had been torn apart. My face swelled up and for a couple weeks I was so bruised it literally looked like someone hit me in the face with a bat. Plus they gave me crappy pain meds, accused me of trying to "abuse" them when I asked for a refill. Come to find out the dumb quack tied the stitches too tight which I'm sure contributed to the initial pain, but as well left me in pain longer than I should have been!!!

    Anyway...

Yeah it can hurt like h**l. Some people have an easier time than others, and I think a lot depends on the skill of the dentist/surgeon. I think you're doin' ok if you're online and thinking about eating. When I had my teeth out I couldn't even think about eating for days...
