I just got myself a yahoo 360, whats that allabout then?

it gives another people to know you better and make new friends, sometimes opinions from other cultures,backgrounds is very interesting then you have some idea how eg a american lives compared to a italian, especially if you have never spoken or being on holiday to that part of the world. i have a 260 and i have spoken to many foreign people and made friends i like it.

Technically, if you have a Yahoo ID, then you already have 360. It's one of Yahoo's free services that involves social networking and combines many Yahoo! services into one area.  It stays dormant until you activate it. Check out an old press release that explains "What is Yahoo! 360?": http://docs.yahoo.com/docs/pr/release122... . More people are using 360 now to find and meet new people - for friends, dating, or whatever.

Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details.However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about glitches.

If you just set up a 360 page there are several things that you can do with and on it.  You can blog, find and meet new friends, post information about yourself and a few other things.  BUT, there are several features of 360 that do not work properly anymore and the Yahoo site managers are not fixing anything because the site is supposed to migrate to a somewhat different platform some time this year (2008).  If you want to know what you can do, just visit some members' pages (like mine .. just click on my screen name and there is a link to my 360 page, from there you can go to other pages.

Also, 360 responds very slowly most days, so be patient.

Have a look at some other peoples 360 and you will see what its all about. Pick a person then go into their profile. 360 will be listed if they have one.
