okay so. I just got 2 goldfish and they are in a long vase with big rocks at the bottom. The vase is about 5 inches thick. Now I have a few questions:

1) should I keep the rocks in there?

2) if I cut a long plant from my garden will it work?

3) is the vase big enough?

4) how do I know which is a boy and which is a girl?

Thank you!

  1. 1.  You can have rocks in there for decoration, so your choice

    2.  Don't use plants from outside, they an have harmful bacteria in them

    3.  Absolutely NOT.  Goldfish need at least 10 gallons per fish, so you need to go and get at least a 10 gallon tank as a temporary house.  They are very messy fish and produce mass amounts of ammonia that can kill them in not in a large enough tank.  In a vase there is no room for them to grow.  Their insides grow but their outsides don't so they die a very painful death.

    4.  Impossible to tell.
