I just got the Haro BMX backtrail X1, is it a good bike?

Question

I just got this bike, for $300 from a local shop. It looks bad-***, all black on black. I'm new to bmx biking (first bike) and i want to make sure its a reliable bike, and not ****. I know for sure, its not the best, but as long as its good.Also, ill be riding this on the streets. Not really any tricks, just basic ones.

And What would you suggest Adding onto it(parts,etc.)?

Yeah thats a really good bike, no parts are necessary to be added on to this bike if you are just gonna be riding around on it. I'm buying my friends Haro in a couple of days and I'm gonna spray paint it and fix it up, they are really good bikes. You made a great choice of a bike.

well if its anything like the 2004 f3 haro...its a piece of ****

i rode it off of a ramp over a freaking car and the stem snapped off of the fork...then the fork was cracked in half when i landed

i had a 100 dollar rhino misfit that ws lik 2 years old and it lasted it idk why a BRAND new haro wouldnt

i think haros are pieces of ****...i woulda went with a dk, fit bike or a mongoose or something

although mongooses are real real heavy but there cheap as h**l

i think you got ripped off lol, i coulda got a bike from like dk or dyno or diamondback or something similar for around 200 bux...same specs and everything

the only thing i like about haros is they use fast *** freewheels so you could easily hit 30 mph if you have strong legs

thats about the only thing its got going for it

its ok if you are just going to be riding it around i suppose.  Its a low end bmx bike though as far as quality of parts goes.
