I just got the blackberry pearl 8130. after a few days of text messaging my whole inbox/outbox are gone?

as well as my call logs...i checked all the settings and isnt set up to automatically delete or hide the messages...then if i send another text it will work but then delete it from my sent box. also when i recieve a text it will just vibrate (saying i have a text) then go away before i can read it. this is driving me crazy...it is a brand new phone through verizon...anybody have the similar problem? please help!

do u have a media card in your device?  do you have alot of pics ringtones music vids stored on the device,  if  so  thats  your problem.  you need  a  media card  to  store that stuff on  otherwise  your device is looking for  memory  if it cant find it  it will  delete you text  your call logs  to  get that  space

Sounds like you're out of free space.

To check:

Options -> Status -> File Free:

If it says 0 bytes, you need to erase some media or pictures, and then remove your battery for a few seconds to reboot your device.  Upon booting up it will perform cleanup, and free up some space.

Alternately, you can purchase a MicroSD memory card, and keep all your pictures/audio/video on there, to save your device for things like messages and call logs.
