I read something about "rooting" them together in water. I've never dealt with lucky bamboo before, and I really want to plant all three stalks (and maybe even more) all together. Can someone help? Thanks!

  1. Lucky bamboo is not bamboo.  It is a Dracaena.

Just put them into a container, add some water and leave them alone.

They like bright light, but not strong sunlight.

I gave you a website that can provide more information.

  2. When I bought mine they were grouped together with what looked like gold twist tie. with rock for support at the base.

So any thing that will tie them together. The stalks were different heights. In a decorative container. A variation on that might be clear colored marbles in a decorative glass bottle.

The care of the plant is in this article.
