I know many of you will say get a job... and I have one, but I am not making a whole lot and I would like to get the principal on my loan down some before it hits repayment. Do you know of any scholarships or anything to help reduce it?

  1. feel bad

  2. Scholarships are for those who are in college.  If they are federal loans, you might consider working in the fields the govt will forgive all or part of the loan (Head start workers, police officers, teachers, those who work with the disabled).  Here is a book that details it better.  Also, some employers like the fed govt will pay on old loans.
