I just had a 42 ft. yacht given to me and need a place to put it and a way to move it , any ideas ?

I'll be moving to port angeles Wash. is there a trailer park there that will let me park a boat ? where can I get help with my project ? I can buy supplies for my boat but will need help on it . ANY ideas will be helpfil , maybe some one to share living on boat will trade for help ? please any ideas or help . this is my dream come true , maybe you can help fulfill it .

That is awesome!

I would suggest that you contact a marina in the location that you will be moving to.  You can rent a space from them to park it.  They would probably be able to give you ideas and suggestions about where to buy supplies, where to find help, etc. etc.

How about a boat yard? I've had Friends live in their boats that were hauled out of the water for repair....but they also have been in the area for a while and usually help out around the boat yard. They also have the tools and all to do all the repairs and stuff too.

I can't see someone willing to live on a 42 foot boat with anyone else unless they are a couple or there are added benefits of some sort....not just free rent for help with repairs. If someone lives on a boat in need of repair; there's no way to get around helping out. Especially in Washington, isn't it pretty cold there in the winter?

What kind of boat/yacht are you talking about here?

This would be a dream of mine too.

buy insurance first.. and you need a tractro trailer to take it to the storage site.. look its may put it in the water.. and get instructions on navagating and how to run that boat.. you will need a licensed pilot or you will run aground or worse.. its going to take time.. so be patient it will take all summer to be proficient on that boat.. and learn to navigage. its easy.
