  1. Well supposedly your body needs 1 year to heal from birth? So ive read.

But I hear of people getting pregnant one right after the other.

Like going back on the 6 weeks checkup to find they are pregnant again.

    nothing wrogn with it.

So im sure youll be fine!

Congrats!! how far along are you?

  2. Boy are you going to be exhausted! I have a son that age and he's enough lol.

I don't think there are any obvious health risks. Though as someone has already said I think it's best to wait a year before having another one, just to make sure all your muscles have recovered properly. I don't think you have anything to worry about though, but for peace of mind it might be an idea to talk it through with your doctor.

  3. It's ok. I also had my first by c-section and was pregnant 4 months later, I just had her by c-section 3 weeks ago. My pregnancy went great and the second c-section was actually better than the first because it was planned this time. Congratulations on your little baby and your new pregnancy. If you have any other questions I would be glad to help you if you need (assuming I would know the answer). My e-mail is open on my profile. Good luck!

  4. Its just more work for your body... you might find morning sickness a little more to deal with, and you'll probably be a bit more tired, especially if you are breast feeding through your 2nd pregnancy (which can be done safely... just keep eating enough healthy food and taking a good multivitamin).

Take advantage of whatever resources are available. It might be someone looking after the older one while you sleep, or have someone come in once every week or every other week to do some of your household chores. Consider someone like a doula, or even a responsible teenager, to help immediately after the birth caring for your home (dishes, cleaning, laundry, etc) so you can concentrate on bonding with your newest and healing.

As far as the c-section, you should be just fine. My aunt had 6 babies by c-section, so multiple c-sections are quite safe.

  5. 2 kids in diapers have fun!!! There are no health risk I am aware of, but its gonna be hard work

  6. you will be fine.. i think its going to be hard to have 2 little babies around the house.. but im sure you are just fine... sheesh you are gonna be one tired mommy!

  7. That would be something to discuss with your OB - but I would think you'll be fine. Our bodies are amazing at healing if we take care of them. Usually, it's recommended to wait at least 1 yr before becoming pregnant again (your doctor should have told you) - but things happen.

Take care of yourself and eat well, take your vitamins. It's fine and good to be excited - a lot better than being upset about it! There isn't much you can do but look forward to this new addition! Best Wishes and God Bless!

  8. You should be fine.  But this may mean that you can not VBAC if you had wanted to.  It would be too soon.  Most doctors want you to be 12-18 months between pregnancies to VBAC.
