I just had a bowel movement and i was bleeding?

i know this isn't normal. I thought it was maybe that I had started my menstruation, but that's not it. My mom said it was maybe hemroids, cuz she has them, but that's not it either. Any ideas?

i also have IBS and it was probably a hemmeroid or a tear in the skin on your r****m. that is normal due to the constant constipation and frequent diharrea. you should be fine, but check with your doc for advice and she can see if you in fact have hemmeroids. also, hemmeroids are also caused by a recent weight gain.

It may in fact be hemorrhoids, as your mom said. Try using witch hazel on the exterior for a few days. Hemorrhoids are caused by straining due to constipation. Eat more green vegetables, drink 8 glasses of water a day and take a teaspoon of miberal oil.  If it persists, see a doctor to rule out colon cancer.

Its probably an anal fissure.  If you have problems with constipation, when you eventually go, the "movement" is so big and hard that it tears you as it comes out.

My doctor recommended lots of fiber (which I was already doing) and also to hugely increase the amount of fruit and veggies I was eating.  To give it a chance to heal, he gave me two prescription ointments (pretty gross) and told me to take half a dose of miralax every day to get things really soft and moving.

I'd go see a doctor anyway just to be sure!
