I just had a freaky dream, what does it mean?

Question

Ok so my grandmother died about 6 months ago of cancer. and I have been having dreams about her and how much I miss her and this and that, but lasts night dream was totally differant and I have no idea what it means! It involved my grandpa, my dad, his brother and me and our pet dog that just died last weekend of old age. and it was really weird , we were at the church like it was a memorial for my grandmother and we were all sitting in a circle and the coffin was in the same room and so was the priest. But in my dream we all knew my grandma has been dead for a couple months but we were still their. and then all of a sudden the priest does something to the coffin and my grandma comes out and is trying to remember us, she gives my grandpa a kiss and my dad a hug but everyone feels weird because she is dead and feels and smells differant. ( remember its my dream ) and then we all sit and talk about storys of our past and then after an hour of talking or so, the priest puts my grandma back and we all leave the church, and thats when i woke up. It was just a little freaky and I was wondering if anybody would know or have an idea on what it meant?

That is super freaky, I had the same dream! My grandmother died in 2005. I had a dream about 2 months ago that my sister and I (both knowing my grandmother was dead) went to go visit her. It was like in a old school hotel room and we were very nervous because we knew she was dead. We went in there and she was telling us hello and hugged us and she missed us. We sat on her bed and talked with her a little bit and it was very weird. I feel that in both of our dreams, they were just coming to say hello. :)

I don't know how much you know/like to believe about the paranormal or the "other side" but I do believe very much that they CAN communicate from the other side and she just wanted to say hi. I have done quite a bit of reading on this subject, and I find it quite interesting too! From what I have read, they come to you in your dreams because they may think your sub conscious would believe their visit better than your real conscious.

It is said that when you dream of someone that has passed and it is very vivid and stays with you for a long time, that it is not a dream, but that person visiting you.  You should ask your Dad, brother and others that are still with us, if they have had any similar dreams.
